Grand Rapids Bars & Restaurants

The best places to eat and drink in Grand Rapids

Reserve Wine & Food

201 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI

When you have something really special to celebrate with Grand Rapids Party Buses out here in the heart of GR, you really do owe it to yourself to check out Reserve Wine & Food. This is a a wonderful restaurant with a heavy focus on their role as a wine bar. It is certainly one of the more expensive options in this area, but when you've got something so once-in-a-lifetime to celebrate, it is completely worth it. Their charcuterie plates are a wonderful starter, including meats, cheeses, and pate, and we'd highly recommend the pork fat fries to anyone who can appreciate comfort food at its very best. The wine selection is just superb, and the sommeliers on staff will be able to point you to the best choices for your particular palate, but the two that we love the best are the Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc and the Maison Roche de Bellene. The barbecue quail is a mind blowing choice for an entree! We just can't get over that flavor. You might want to ask the staff about giving you a little tour of the place. We love the ambiance here, with plenty of space for your largest Grand Rapids Party Buses groups and also an intimate vibe for your smaller outings.

Bar Divani

15 Ionia Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI

Bar Divani is another wine bar that we love out here in the Grand Rapids Party Buses service area, this one being known best for its jazz and blues. Digging into some mind blowing dishes, sipping fine wine, and listening to live jazz and blues artists weave their magic through your ears... well, we just cannot think of a more ideal place to hang out with your Grand Rapids Party Buses group. It's an all-encompassing experience of enjoyment, from the food to the drinks to the music! We should take a moment to talk about the mouth watering entrees that are offered here. The quinoa salad is one of the most delicious things we've ever tasted and it's a great option for our vegan/vegetarian travelers. The white barbecue chicken flat bread pizza with duck bacon will just blow your mind! Can't say enough good things about that one. The duck two ways is an unbelievable choice too. Now, if you can manage to save enough room for dessert, we'd steer you to the homemade chocolate lava cake time after time! Always an elegant and exciting choice. Their artisan vanilla gelato is a pure slice of heaven, and the flourless chocolate torte with strawberry sauce is a Valentine's Day delicacy that you can enjoy at any time of year!

Trattoria di' Stagione - CLOSED

1420 Lake Dr, Grand Rapids, MI

One more wine bar for the road! This one's decidedly Italian and it's one of the best places in town to nab some irresistible flavors of Italy along with some really fine wine. This one's a little bit lower priced than the other two on this list and yet their quality game is strong. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy such a classy and trendy atmosphere while also having truly incredible food. It's not just about presentation here, it's about tantalizing flavor and satisfying fare. The chicken alla matone is perhaps one of the greatest examples of that, served in a hearty portion size and just packed to the brim with flavor, including polenta and roasted vegetables that really set off the flavors of the chicken so well. The ricotta fritters with tomato jam... goodness, there are just no words to even describe what that taste sensation is like. Creamy, fresh, unique... that's our best attempt, but again, there are no words! For dessert, the chocolate lava cake is the way to go, no question about it. It's a small portion too, so you don't have to save too much room for it! Just enough to treat your palate after an amazing savory meal. They have nice happy hour pricing here and outdoor seating as well.
